Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care - Day Shift

About the Role

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse for our Float Pool within the Critical Care area. This role involves utilizing clinical knowledge, research, and experience to deliver excellent patient care and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complete physical exams
• Diagnose and manage common clinical issues
• Develop and evaluate treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Participate in discharge planning
• Communicate clearly with the healthcare team, patients, and families
• Perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Engage in patient education, interdisciplinary rounds, and teaching activities
• Maintain ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing
• 3+ years of Critical Care NP experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Current Massachusetts NP license
• Certification as Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner
