This position is located at Calipatria State Prison in Calipatria, CA (Imperial County). This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week, with a monthly salary range of $6,521.50 to $7,372.50. Part-time employees are subject to a 3% base salary reduction and receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027, prorated based on time-base.
About the Role
Under the supervision of the Chief Physician and Surgeon, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) assesses and manages the health care needs of patients in ambulatory, inpatient, and specialized clinical settings. The NP performs physical examinations and therapeutic procedures, interprets routine laboratory and imaging results, and educates and counsels patients regarding their physical and mental health. The NP may also be assigned call duties with backup supervision by a physician manager.

Pay
Monthly part-time salary range: $6,521.50 to $7,372.50.
