About the role

Umpqua Health Newton Creek (UHNC) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our Urgent Care team in Roseburg, Oregon. As a Rural Health Clinic (RHC), we are deeply committed to providing continuous, comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout our community.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in an urgent care setting
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate treatment
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in community outreach and rural healthcare initiatives

Requirements

• Current or qualifications to obtain Oregon Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience in urgent care or family medicine preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
• Current Oregon Nurse Practitioner license
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
