About the role
As a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality primary and preventive care to employees of a premier client at our health center in New York, NY, conveniently located near Central Park. Schedule
This position offers a consistent 36-hour Monday through Friday schedule:
- Monday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
- Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
- Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
- At least two or more years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
Skills
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in women’s health, annual physicals and exams, acute/episodic care, and emergency response.

Pay
Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $125,000 - $149,000 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
