Nurse Practitioner

About the role

We’re seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including medical centers, nursing homes, and home care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geriatric assessments, physical exams, and medical histories.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Refer patients to specialists and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.
• Perform invasive procedures upon demonstrated competency and participate in clinical rounds and conferences.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and clearly.
• Provide patient and family education, counseling, and facilitate transitions to appropriate care levels.
• Recognize urgent situations, initiate life-saving procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure and Nurse Practitioner certification in the practice state.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; board certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics, with autonomous decision-making abilities.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% locally.
