About the role
Gifford has an opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their well-established, successful Primary Care office at the Berlin Health Center.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients within scope of practice
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Vermont
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams (e.g., NCLEX-PN)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field
- ACNP certification or equivalent
- Experience in primary care settings preferred
