Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Full-time (32–40 hours per week) float position split between Kent Regency Center in Warwick, RI and Grand Islander Center in Middletown, RI. Open to nurse practitioners or physician assistants with at least one year of provider experience.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or Area Clinical Practice Manager.
• Collaborate on-site with the Center Leadership Team for center-specific goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient-specific medical care.
• Provide primary and urgent care services to nursing-center residents in collaboration with other medical providers.
• Work with Center Leadership to achieve AlignMed Partners’ mission of improving lives through high-quality healthcare and everyday compassion.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, RN license, certification as an NP from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program, Master’s Degree in Nursing, and a concentration/specialty track in Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Other concentrations may be considered based on experience and business need.
• Physician Assistant: graduate of an ARC-PA–accredited program, PANCE certification, and PA state licensure. NCCPA certification required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with adult or geriatric populations preferred.
• Unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state of practice (where state law permits).

Restrictions apply based on collective-bargaining agreements, state law, pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. Full-time benefits require a minimum of 30 hours/week; health plans are not available to part-time employees working 16–29 hours/week.

Pay

Base salary range at 40 hours/week: $116,000 – $133,000 per year.
