Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Occupational Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a provider passionate about practicing Occupational Medicine and managing work-related injuries. Candidates with experience in Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care are well-positioned to thrive in this role. No after-hours call responsibility and no weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational medicine services, including evaluations, treatments, and referrals for work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective management of workplace health issues.
• Manage patient care plans and coordinate with other healthcare providers as needed.
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities to stay current with industry standards and advancements.

Requirements

• Minimum two years experience in Occupational Medicine or related specialty.
• License in the state of WA as a PA by the time of employment.
• Board certified by the time of employment.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Certified by the American Heart Association for BLS for Healthcare Providers.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
