Nurse Practitioner - Altoona, PA

The IMA Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Altoona, PA to perform independent medical evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits. This is an evaluation‑only position — no treatment, no on‑call, and no follow‑up — allowing you to focus on thorough, objective clinical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform focused physical examinations
• Review diagnostic testing and medical records
• Document findings in clear, accurate, objective medical reports
• Submit completed evaluations through our easy‑to‑use digital platform

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license
• Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner Studies
• At least 1 year of NP experience (primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, PM&R, or orthopedics preferred)
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
