About the Facility
Our 100-bed hospital, located near the Sacred Heart Medical Campus, is designed to provide a "home-like environment" that promotes a holistic, patient-centered approach to mental health. The facility features:
- Consolidated public areas and service spaces on the first floor, including a dining room and gym
- Four 25-bed wings in an x-shaped design for security and operational efficiencies
- Two activity rooms per unit—one for louder activities (music, movies) and one for quiet activities
- Two outdoor courtyards, offices, and administrative spaces
Three inpatient units serve adults (18+), and one unit is specifically designed for adolescents ages 13-17. The integration of architecture, artwork, and landscaping creates a safe, encouraging, and aesthetically pleasing environment for healing.
