Nurse Practitioner – (60323) - California

Federally Qualified Health Center in Northern California seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Pay

Base salary: $145,000 – $160,000

Schedule

• Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Providers typically work 4 days per week
• Patient volume: 16–18 patients per day
• No call; outpatient only

About the Role

• Group operates 3 medical clinics within 30 minutes of each other; most providers rotate through two sites
• Current EMR: Athena Practice (transitioning to Epic in 2027)
• Non-profit FQHC and NHSC-eligible site for loan repayment
• Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) status provides additional loan repayment options through HCAI and other agencies
• Sign-on bonus: $50,000 for Advanced Practice Providers

Location

Clinics are located 30 minutes from Redding, just under 2 hours from Chico and Susanville, and 3½ hours from the Pacific coast. Domestic airport in Redding offers direct flights to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Denver; Sacramento International Airport is a 2½-hour drive.

• Board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Family Practice fellowship or experience preferred
