Job Summary

Responsible for enhancing nursing practice standards and promoting professional development within our hospital through developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred, Master's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required, Basic Life Support Certification - required
  • Nursing experience: 5-7 years required
  • Specialized clinical experience: 3-5 years required
  • Demonstrated experience in education preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulations
  • Extensive clinical experience with a focus on a specialized area within the hospital (e.g., critical care, oncology, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
