Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care and support to multidisciplinary health team working within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Counsels and educates patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care practices.
  • Coordinates patient care across various departments and providers.
  • Assesses patient needs and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Continuously updates knowledge and skills through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state where the position is located.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Passion for improving patient care and outcomes through innovative approaches.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active NP license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare policies and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
