About the role
This position enhances nursing practice standards and promotes professional development by developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols. Additionally, the role serves as the Stroke Coordinator, specializing in the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols.
- Act as Stroke Coordinator within the Emergency Department.
- Promote professional development and high nursing practice standards.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required). Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (required).
- 5-7 years of nursing experience (required).
- 3-5 years of specialized clinical experience (required).
- Experience may not substitute for degree requirements.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulations.
- Extensive clinical experience with a focus on a specialized area (e.g., critical care, oncology).
- Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Pay
Annual pay range: $74,048.00 - $143,488.80. Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 scheduled weekly hours.
- Day shift.
- Onsite at 30 Locust Street, Northampton, MA.
