Nurse Pract Cardiology - Electrophysiology
About the Role
As our Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will utilize your advanced training and skills to provide direct patient care within the Cardiology department, under the supervision of a physician. You will assess, diagnose, and treat cardiology patients, manage their care plans, and ensure comprehensive, high-quality service delivery in collaboration with the medical team.
Responsibilities
- Obtain medical histories when necessary.
- Perform physical exams (within established protocol).
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines).
- Order diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe or recommend medications for treatment (within protocol guidelines).
- Promote positive healthy lifestyle habits to all patients through education and counseling.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- One year of previous experience as an NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience.
- Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Tennessee.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiology experience.

Pay
$46.17 - $68.67 per hour.
