About the role
We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) responsible for ensuring donor eligibility, managing adverse events, reviewing lab results, and notifying donors of unsuitable tests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical history interviews and perform physical exams
- Perform blood testing and evaluate donor reactions
- Follow SOPs for medical emergencies
- Collaborate with the Center Manager, Center Physician, and Medical Affairs
- Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State licensure as an LPN or LVN
- Current CPR/AED certification
- At least two years of clinical or hospital experience
- Knowledge of plasma collection regulations
- FDA training
