Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components.
- Coordinates care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.
- Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
Requirements
- Significant experience in wound care.
- Experience in outpatient nursing and specialty care nursing, including pain management, orthopedics, and general surgery.
- Experience in managing clinics and providing patient care in an ambulatory care setting.
- Advanced expertise in wound management.
- Possession of advanced certification(s) in wound care.
- Completion of a master's level bridge program in nursing and subsequent acquisition of a state license.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse.
Qualifications
- Basic written and spoken English proficiency.
- An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Two years of professional nursing experience in a related field with a BSN, or a Master's degree in nursing (MSN).
- Leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.
