Nurse Outpatient

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components.
• Coordinates care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
• Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.
• Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.

Requirements

• Significant experience in wound care.
• Experience in outpatient nursing and specialty care nursing, including pain management, orthopedics, and general surgery.
• Experience in managing clinics and providing patient care in an ambulatory care setting.
• Advanced expertise in wound management.
• Possession of advanced certification(s) in wound care.
• Completion of a master's level bridge program in nursing and subsequent acquisition of a state license.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse.

Qualifications

• Basic written and spoken English proficiency.
• An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Two years of professional nursing experience in a related field with a BSN, or a Master's degree in nursing (MSN).
• Leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.
