The role of Nurse-Midwifery Program Director involves overseeing the development and implementation of a midwifery education program, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and managing faculty and staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee curriculum development and implementation for the midwifery education program.
- Ensure all programs meet accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage faculty and staff resources to support educational goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) or Master’s in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Midwifery.
- At least 5 years of experience in midwifery practice and education.
- Experience with program accreditation processes.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
