About the role
As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and routine gynecologic needs. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you'll support whole-person health by promoting wellness, patient education, and exceptional clinical outcomes. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality care in a faith-based environment dedicated to extending the healing ministry of Christ.
Responsibilities
- Manage low-risk pregnancies and provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care within scope of practice.
- Deliver evidence-based midwifery care in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic settings.
- Apply clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Provide preventative healthcare, family planning, breastfeeding support, and women’s wellness services.
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives.
- Perform clinical assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
- Educate diverse patient populations and coordinate care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize healthcare technology.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
- Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

- Advanced knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs.
- Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in documentation, care coordination, and healthcare technology.
