About the role

The Certified Nurse Midwife assists in various patient care activities such as diagnosis, treatments, consultations, and the birthing process. They are responsible for providing essential patient education on preventative care and prescribed treatments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients as part of comprehensive healthcare services
• Provide patient education on preventative care and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
• Participate in the birthing process as a Certified Nurse Midwife

Requirements

• Hold a valid and unrestricted state licensure as a Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Must have completed specialized nursing education
• Must possess BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Self-motivated and able to work within established hospital/clinic policies, procedures, and practices
• Fluent in English to provide and receive instructions and directions
