Job Summary
In your role, you will:
- Understand and apply aseptic technique
- Demonstrate knowledge of prepping areas for different procedures
- Assess patients before surgery and ensure they understand the procedure
- Work collaboratively with the Surgical Services team
- Deliver high-quality nursing care and promote a positive image of nursing
Qualifications
- 1-year of clinical experience as a licensed RN, preferably in Operating Room, OR, CVOR, Perioperative Services, or Surgical Center
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN required
- 2 years of leadership experience in a charge or manager role highly recommended
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR preferred
