Nurse Manager - Outpatient Oncology

Role: The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse responsible for leading a specific clinical unit or service, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and staff retention. Responsibilities: Manage clinical, financial, human, and material resources to meet organizational goals.Promote a safe, collaborative work environment through effective communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution.Drive staff competency, professional development, and adherence to professional standards and ethical practices.Implement evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and safety standards, utilizing data and technology for decision-making.Engage staff in shared governance and foster interdisciplinary teamwork.Analyze financial performance, reduce waste, and support operational efficiency.Represent the organization positively to the community and participate in professional activities. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.Current RN license with BLS certification; multi-state licensure preferred.Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing preferred.Strong communication, relationship-building, leadership, change management, and business skills.Knowledge of healthcare financing, compliance, and regulatory standards.Ability to inspire, coach, and model professional practice; committed to continuous learning.
