Nurse Manager - Operating Room

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with perioperative expertise for a leadership role as Nurse Manager of the Operating Room. Responsibilities Include Leading a 24/7 Surgical Services department with 16 operating suites supporting diverse proceduresOverseeing staff including RNs, LPNs, Surgical Technologists, and PCAs to ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and operational efficiencyManaging clinical operations, developing systems for quality and safety, and handling staffing, scheduling, and budgetingLeading staff hiring, supervision, professional development, and performance evaluationsDriving quality improvement initiatives, addressing patient feedback, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standardsFostering a collaborative, high-performing team and serving as a clinical resource and mentorImplementing policies, protocols, and performance standards to optimize patient care Qualifications Registered Nursing license in the relevant stateBachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s preferred3+ years OR RN experience; 1+ year of leadership experienceStrong communication, conflict resolution, organizational, and leadership skillsBasic understanding of performance improvement and regulatory requirementsRelevant clinical certification and current BLS/ACLS certifications highly preferred Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate High emotional intelligenceEffective delegation and team management abilitiesCommitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
