Nurse Manager - Operating Room

Role Overview: This leadership position oversees patient care delivery, clinical operations, and hospital administration across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Clinical Quality & Safety: Implements best practice models, standards, and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies. Monitors resource use, maintains equipment, and fosters a safe environment for patients and staff.Team Development & Collaboration: Provides training, coaching, and development opportunities; builds cross-functional relationships; delegates tasks; and promotes open communication.Operational Management: Translates business plans into actionable items, manages workflows, oversees policies, and ensures achievement of performance metrics. Resolves escalated issues and removes obstacles.Administrative Oversight: Supports patient care through data analysis, compliance, budget management, and regulatory readiness. Coordinates cross-functional activities including safety, HR, and quality assurance.24/7 Care Delivery & Improvement: Manages complex hospital operations, implements strategic initiatives, monitors daily activities, and ensures optimal resource utilization. Leads emergency preparedness and quality improvement projects.Process Enhancement: Drives operational and technological improvements, leads strategic projects, and ensures performance metrics align with organizational goals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 3 years in patient care delivery and 2 years in leadership roles.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience (6+ years).Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life Support certifications required at hire.RN license from applicable states within specified timelines; multi-state credentials may be required. Additional Notes: Strong OR background is preferred.
