Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care and patient flow in the Operating Room.
- Consult with staff, physicians, anesthesia members, and other Perioperative leaders to ensure patient needs are met and quality outcomes are achieved.
- Oversee clinical operations and patient flow under the direction of the Operating Room Director.
- Lead all Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and initiatives.
- Maintain oversight of plans for improving clinical services, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate and problem-solve with the Nursing Director, Administrator, physicians, Department Heads, and house supervision to meet patient care needs across departments and disciplines.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing (required).
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience, including two years in area of specialization.
- One year in a nursing leadership position (preferred).
- Strong ability to listen, operate with ambiguity, and implement change rapidly.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with key leaders and physicians.
Required Certification/Registration
- Ongoing current RN registration in New York.
- BLS required at hire or transfer until ACLS is obtained (BLS renewal not required once ACLS is obtained).
- PALS certification.
- CNOR preferred; otherwise, required within one year of hire.
Physical Requirements
- Work requires extensive standing and walking.

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is $102,180–$127,725. The range provided complies with New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits. Compensation is determined based on factors such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity.
