About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily operations of assigned site(s)
  • Ensures quality, cost-effective, and efficient workflows
  • Coordinates and evaluates all site staff
  • Staffs for patient care delivery in ambulatory clinics
  • Enforces Joint Commission and regulatory standards
  • Implements and sustains operations of current and new initiatives
  • Works collaboratively with service line and support staff
  • Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio or Multi-State License
  • 3 years of clinical experience, including experience as a preceptor, charge nurse or committee leader
  • Nursing certification in specialty area or in nursing management/leadership (e.g., CNML, NE-BC, NEA-BC)
  • Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and delegation skills

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or other Healthcare related field (preferred)
  • Experience in planning and analysis, financial management, and/or marketing (preferred)
  • EPIC template management and experience with health care computer systems (preferred)
  • Clinical and operational experience at one or more MetroHealth ambulatory sites (preferred)

  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 5-8hr Days; Potential to flex to 10hr shifts; Variable Start Times
