About the role

The Nurse Manager of Neuro Specialty has 24/7 accountability for a defined patient‑care area, creating an optimal climate for individualized, goal‑directed nursing care that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Medical City Plano. The manager fosters an environment where nurses practice autonomously using evidence‑based practices, advocates for patient safety, and supports the nursing staff’s commitment to protect the health, safety, and rights of individuals, families, and communities.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Texas state RN license or compact licensure.
• National specialty certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing leadership.
