Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s)
• Coordinate and supervise activities for the unit to support safe and efficient delivery of care
• Assist the Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities
• Assist with hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the Unit
• Oversee Monitor Technicians in Telemetry

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required
• (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• CCRN must be obtained within 90 days of hire date
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Critical Care Department required
• 2+ years of management experience preferred; will consider management experience outside of healthcare
