Nurse Manager - Neurosciences Clinical Operations

Provides operational leadership and clinical oversight for the ambulatory teams across Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics, Neurosurgery Clinic, and the NICU Follow-Up Program.

About the role

Directly responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Patient Services Coordinators (PSCs). In close partnership with Medical Directors and Program Managers, you will optimize clinic throughput, uphold high standards of patient care and safety, streamline patient intake and scheduling workflows, and foster a culture of continuous operational improvement and staff engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) years RN experience.
• Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.
• Copy of bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or transcripts on record with Human Resources upon hire.
• Nursing or healthcare-related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire, or obtained within three (3) years of hire, and maintained thereafter. Certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle Children's.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (condition of hire, must be maintained). Pediatric Emergency, Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accepted in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree in another field if the incumbent possesses it.
• For RNs performing moderately complex point-of-care testing, a copy of a diploma or transcript of the highest level of academic achievement must be on record with Human Resources upon hire (per CAP and CMS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or business-related field.
• Recent clinical experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting.
• Recent experience in an ambulatory management and/or leadership role.

Pay

Compensation range: $129,992.00 - $194,988.00 per year (based on full-time employment of 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
