Nurse Manager- Medical Telemetry

Full-time position in the MedSurg-Cardiac Telemetry department.

About the role

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who functions as a patient care provider, supervisor, and clinical resource for staff. They implement management and clinical activities, coordinate clinical activities to ensure the nursing process is operationalized utilizing Standards of Care and Standards of Practice. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the provision of patient care consistent with department, hospital, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize, supervise, and evaluate the work of nursing staff.
• Develop, interpret, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure patient care aligns with departmental, hospital, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of three to five years of clinical experience.
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with healthcare software (e.g., MS Word, Outlook, patient registration systems, electronic medical records).
• Effective verbal and written multilingual skills (beyond English) in languages appropriate to the patient populations served by the hospital.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Analytical abilities to manage and evaluate staff, policies, and standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

Compensation range: $113,500.00 – $164,500.00. This range is based on minimum job qualifications and considers factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Geographic location may modify the range.
