About the Role
Responsible for managing daily operations of the Med/Surg Unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for resource allocation
- Promote evidence-based practice
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Support clinical, human resource, and financial decision-making
Requirements
- BSN or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred
- Current RN licensure
- Obtain national certification within one year
- Maintain BLS certification
- Minimum of five years of recent nursing experience
- At least two years in clinical hospital leadership
- Previous leadership experience preferred
