Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery: Night Shift

What You’ll Do

• Lead clinical excellence
• Set the tone for safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
• Ensure your team delivers evidence-based, culturally competent care across the full spectrum of obstetrical services
• Be the expert your team relies on
• Serve as a clinical resource and step in when needed
• Validate competencies, coach staff, and maintain a strong presence on the unit
• Drive quality and safety
• Monitor outcomes, identify risks, and implement improvements that elevate both patient care and team performance
• Build strong physician partnerships
• Collaborate closely with providers to advance care practices, address concerns quickly, and support a culture of trust and accountability
• Lead and develop your team
• Create an environment where nurses feel supported, challenged, and valued
• Own operational performance
• Manage staffing, productivity, and budget expectations while balancing quality care and efficiency
• Engage beyond the unit
• Represent Riverside in the community and support initiatives that improve the health of the populations we serve

What You Bring

• RN with a BSN required (MSN or higher preferred)
• 2+ years of obstetrical nursing experience (inpatient or outpatient)
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to lead in high-acuity situations
• A collaborative, approachable leadership style that builds trust
