We are seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Labor and Delivery (L&D) Unit at a premier medical center. The role involves overseeing a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care, promoting a positive practice environment, and facilitating collaboration among staff. You will contribute to strategic planning, day-to-day operations, standards of care, and foster a learning environment that encourages sharing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a multidisciplinary team in the Labor and Delivery Unit
• Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care
• Promote a positive practice environment and facilitate staff collaboration
• Contribute to strategic planning and day-to-day operations
• Uphold and develop standards of care
• Foster a learning environment that encourages expertise sharing
• Allocate resources and support staff development
• Ensure quality care and collaborate with organizational stakeholders

Requirements

• Master of Nursing (MSN) or Baccalaureate in Nursing with matriculation into an MSN program
• At least 7 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery
• Clinical management experience
• Current Maryland RN license
• CPR certification
