Role Overview

The Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery leads a high-performing team in providing exceptional, patient-centered care for families. This leadership position involves overseeing 24/7 operations, ensuring optimal staffing, resource allocation, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily operations of Labor & Delivery and Perinatal Education units
• Leading clinical quality improvement initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Collaborating on policy development, staff education, and performance management
• Supporting direct patient care and upholding patient rights, safety, and dignity
• Promoting interdisciplinary communication and teamwork across departments
• Participating in recruitment, onboarding, and staff mentorship
• Leading shift huddles, acting as Charge Nurse when needed, and supporting clinical practice

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in Labor & Delivery or Women's Health Nursing
• Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and staff engagement abilities
