The successful candidate will oversee and manage operational, regulatory, and business processes in the department. They will also lead initiatives to foster innovation and self-development, ensuring excellence in operations, patient safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinates and directs care provided by other team members.
• Addresses system issues to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
• Represents the department on process improvement, standardization, and regulatory committees.
• Develops and monitors department key performance measures and goals.
• Determines the scope of care or service in relation to the institution's values, mission, and strategic plan.
• Affords support in developing long-term department plans.
• Works with multiple individuals to meet various requests and deadlines.
• Strives for self-development and goal-oriented behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• At least one year of management experience.
• Nursing License active in the state of Missouri.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
