About the role
The Nurse Manager will oversee the Cardiac Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional Lab, Vascular Interventional Radiology, and the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to adult and geriatric patients, including the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs.
- Assure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Identify priorities of management responsibilities and demonstrate the ability to delegate.
- Develop and maintain methods to ensure patient satisfaction on the assigned unit.
- Perform routine patient rounds to establish visibility, teamwork, and monitor the level of care/practice.
- Remain cognizant of risk management issues and take appropriate measures to correct.
- Support and communicate Department of Nursing and unit-based Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives.
- Lead nursing practice and care delivery in the designated unit.
- Promote the autonomy of the nursing staff, encouraging independent decision-making and problem-solving.
- Support and maintain shared decision-making on the unit.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Completed Master's degree in nursing or, alternatively, completed BSN with a Master’s degree in healthcare or business management field required.
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required; Nurse Executive certification preferred.
- Five years of appropriate leadership experience required.
- Current RN licensure accepted in the state of Delaware required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Five years of appropriate clinical experience in Critical Care or Interventional Procedural Lab area required.
- Experience in Interventional labs strongly preferred.

Pay
Annual Compensation Range: $121,180.80 - $193,897.60. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
