About the role

The Nurse Manager provides leadership to advance professional nursing practice by overseeing unit operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing improvement of systems that support professional practice and align with organizational goals.
• Maintaining 24-hour accountability for clinical operations.
• Fostering a culture of trust, teamwork, and patient advocacy.
• Promoting excellence in nursing practice and patient care through strategic leadership, clinical expertise, and operational management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or commitment to obtain one.
• National nursing board certification in a specialty area.
• At least five years of professional nursing experience.
• Leadership and management experience with knowledge of CQI, care delivery models, healthcare systems, and budgeting.
• Active RN license in the state.
