Nurse Manager - Cardiac Acute Care (Days)

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties following hospital policy/procedure.
• Supervise nursing personnel responsible for patient care.
• Assume 24‑hour responsibility for management of patient care and assigned personnel.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of nursing practice/management and responsibility for self‑development.
• Ensure accountability for maintaining high standards of patient care and nursing practice for the entire unit.
• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care on the unit using the nursing process.

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework.
• Experience: Five years of related experience.
• Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
• Licenses & Certifications: Georgia Registered Nurse or Multistate Nursing License; Healthcare Provider (CPR).

Qualifications

• B.S. in nursing preferred.
