Responsibilities
- Serve as a professional nurse leader with 24/7 accountability for a patient care area/department.
- Focus on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
- Maintain a financially stable unit.
- Promote self and staff development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education, supported by a Practice Governance framework.
- Ensure the Swanson Theory of Caring and patient/family-centered care are the foundation for nursing practice.
- Involve staff at all levels in the allocation of resources, interdisciplinary activities, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Master’s degree (desired).
