About the role
The RN Manager at Adena Health leads a team of care providers in an assigned area(s), fostering collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect while providing patient care and supportive services. They ensure patients and their families benefit from patient-focused care through the integrated skills of all care team members. The Manager oversees patient care operations, aligns with the health system's mission, values, and goals, and manages staff performance.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a collaborative and respectful environment among care providers
- Directly manage patient care operations in assigned areas
- Evaluate and improve patient care outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care
- Make decisions regarding unit needs, either independently or with guidance from division directors or physicians
- Guide, coach, and evaluate staff performance
- Ensure ongoing collaboration with other departments/areas affecting patient care
- Occasionally provide direct patient care and have access to confidential information
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse with a current Ohio license
- Previous management/leadership experience
Qualifications
