The Nurse Manager Med Surg oversees a 28-bed Med Surg unit focusing on medical and telemetry patients, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development. They lead clinical, financial, human, and material resources, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Engages staff through shared governance; promotes relationship-based care and service excellence.
• Acts as chief retention and safety officer, managing talent and resources effectively.
• Analyzes financial data, employs quality improvement techniques, and supports operational performance.
• Communicates effectively with diverse teams; builds strong partnerships with staff, physicians, and departments.
• Supports staff competency, professional growth, and adherence to ethical and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification required.
