About the role

The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community. This role involves providing direct care to residents, including managing their activities of daily living and administering medications, while also leading the team in delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians
• Provide care and assistance to residents in managing their ADLs and medications
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director of Wellness
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures and follow the Director's instructions
• Lead the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness
• Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (preferred)

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• Desire to improve the quality of life of residents
• Caring, reliable, and observant personality
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders

Qualifications

• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
