Nurse (LPN or RN)

About the role

As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care at Regency Prineville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
• Train staff and report to the director of nursing.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

Requirements

You currently possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing. Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing.
• 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare (preferred).

• Strong communication skills.

• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
