About the role
As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care at Regency Prineville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
- Train staff and report to the director of nursing.
- Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
- Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations.
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
Requirements
You currently possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing. Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing.
- 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare (preferred).
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
