Responsibilities

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Nursing services including medication assistance/administration
• Training and supervising staff
• Encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensuring care according to resident treatment and service plans
• Implementing infection control and safety procedures
• Reviewing, updating, and communicating resident care documentation
• Evaluating health emergencies and determining medical measures within the RN scope of practice and state regulations
• Safeguarding dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents

Requirements

• A current LPN or RN license in good standing
• Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
