Nurse (Float Pool)

About the role

The Float Pool Registered Nurse - is responsible for all aspects of the nursing process - providing direct patient care across inpatient units. They assess - plan - implement - and evaluate care - administer medications and procedures - and coordinate care with a focus on patient education and satisfaction. Demonstrating leadership and expertise - they collaborate with teams - improve care outcomes - support colleagues - and foster professional development while managing complex client care.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse-Float Pool executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership - experience - and creative approaches to management of complex patient care
• Collaborates in the development - implementation - evaluation - and revision of policies - procedures - and/or guidelines
• Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to improve the care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability
• Provides peers with formal or informal constructive feedback for improvement
• Supports colleagues and other nurses
