About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. You will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, including critical assessments, skilled procedures, and meticulous implementation of patient care plans. Responsibilities

  • Apply the nursing process to direct patient care through assessment, analysis of collected data, development of a plan of care, and implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Provide adequate information and instruction to the patient, family, and significant others.
  • Observe, collect, and record patient biophysical, psychosocial, and self-care data, identifying educational needs.
  • Analyze assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses and implement age-appropriate care plans with the team.
  • Administer medication and ensure patient and staff safety.

Requirements

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • One (1) year of RN experience or current RN with CHI Mercy Health

Preferred Qualifications

  • Family Birth Place experience
