About the Role
Provide hands-on patient care and support the nursing team in an Orthopedics unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility, comfort, and hygiene.
- Perform basic nursing procedures like wound and catheter care, specimen collection.
- Document care accurately and communicate updates to the nursing staff.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control protocols.
- Engage in learning opportunities and collaborate with supervisors to develop skills.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- NC (CNA) Certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start.
