About the role

We are seeking a Nursing Intern to join a Medical Intermediate Unit in a Magnet-designated, academic medical center. This PRN position involves caring for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on diverse conditions including renal, heart failure, and observation cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision
• Perform clinical procedures
• Support healthcare team members
• Complete technical tasks based on unit competency

Requirements

• Enrolled in nursing school, certified nursing assistant, completed SLHS NA training, or finished fundamentals of care course
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support certification
• Ability to perform patient care activities
