About the role
The Clinical Educator is a registered nurse specializing in education, responsible for advancing the professional growth and competency of nurses across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant, and researcher to develop bedside nurses
- Promote evidence-based practice and support clinical excellence
- Develop educational programs, resources, and support transitions into practice and specialty areas
- Contribute to positive clinical outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required)
- Master's Degree in Nursing or active enrollment in a program with projected completion within 18 months
- Washington RN license
- BLS certification
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in a specialty area
Skills
- Certification in nursing specialty (preferred)
- Formal education experience
- Leadership skills
- Simulation expertise
- Strong clinical, educational, and program development skills
- Focus on adult education
