Nurse Educator - Clinical Nursing Education

About the role

The Clinical Educator RN develops, implements, and maintains clinical education programs to enhance the competency of nurses and caregivers in ambulatory clinics. The role focuses on designing instructional content, assessing learning outcomes, and establishing best‑practice standards to ensure high‑quality patient care while complying with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design instructor‑led and e‑learning courses for nursing staff and caregivers.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain best‑practice standards for clinical care.
• Ensure all educational activities comply with relevant policies and regulations.
• Support professional growth of clinical staff through ongoing education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge.
• At least 3 years of clinical or educational experience.
• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong background in clinical education and nursing care.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, Business, or Health.
• Teaching credentials.
• Experience in ambulatory care settings.
